OTA 304 is Concepts in Adult Rehabilitation/ Orthopedics. This OTA course examines the occupational therapy process for adults with physical disabilities. Topics are inclusive of selected diagnostic categories (cardio-pulmonary diseases, diabetes, orthopedic conditions, chronic pain, hand impairments, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, burn injuries, amputations, and cancer) and therapeutic technologies. Use of theory, evaluation and data collection, documentation, evidence and occupation-based interventions will be presented and applied in this OTA 306: Techniques & Interventions/ Orthopedics.
