OTA409 Level I Fieldwork (Adult Rehab x 1 week) - OTA 5

Level I Fieldwork B introduces the student to the adult rehabilitation setting of occupational therapy practice. It is intended "to introduce students to the fieldwork experience, and develop a basic comfort level with an understanding of the needs of clients [as well as] engage in experiences designed to enrich didactic coursework through directed observation and participation in selected aspects of the occupational therapy process."(AOTA, COE, 1999). Students will be placed in practice settings that support learning in Semester 3 & 4 of the curriculum.
